Job Description:
TheUser Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) Designerswork across teams to developing engaging, positive user experiences for internal UPS customers. They develop the visual and interactive user experience for products. They follow UI/UX design standards, guidelines and strategies that will serve as the foundation for creating cohesive experiences across all UPS applications.
About the UX Designer Co-op Role
The UX Designer Co-op will pair with an experienced Designer, in order to learn from that person and assist with user experience project work. They will have the following responsibilities.
Help Conduct User Research including surveys, contextual inquiries and usability tests
Help develop personas, journey maps, and empathy maps for business units
Assist with design tasks including sketching, wireframing and prototyping
In order to effectively do this the person should have the following skills:
Familiarity with research best practices, and possesses excellent communication and elicitation skills
Strong knowledge of usability concepts, front end interaction patterns, and design acumen

Qualifications
Actively pursuing or recent graduate (within 24 months) of a degreed program in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Usability Engineering, Certified Usability Analysis (CUA) or Certified User Experience (CXA) or related discipline
ANDAbility to commute to our Louisville, KY office on a hybrid basis
